Comfy hotel beds, cute little balcony, view of the bay covered in fog as we wake. We all slept nicely, and now it's time to sample the breakfast buffet. Love that hotel-wide wireless (but no plundr yet). Looking forward to seeing the rest of K's family today, and who knows what else. Traveling without a serious game plan can be fun.

Day 1: Departure is smooth, flight includes rude stewardesses who don't give us water, but one nice steward redeems the mood. Arrival greeted by cousin K, and then a winding drive to our hotel. Fall is as springtime
Rainy weather, hot and cold
The house must be cleaned

Black pepper cayenne
Talcum powder cinnamon
All these repel ants
