Curry Me Home! Very cute. It’s nice seeing her domestic life like this. I’m enjoying this project.

Oh gosh, thanks for the catch! I don't know why I forgot to check that after I posted. Too excited maybe. XD

I was so proud of myself when I came up with that restaurant name. *laugh* There's actually a couple of restaurants in the Bay Area (not sure if they're beyond that) that do Indian burritos and street food called Curry Up Now, which I didn't remember until after I came up with Curry Mee Home. But I feel like I've seen a bunch of Asian restaurants that use puns like that, so it felt right to make one up for my story.

I'm glad you like seeing the domestic stuff too. There wasn't room for it in the last entry, but this week's topic lended to it much better. I like being able to see that side of superheroes/vigilantes in comics, but I don't recall any who have teenage kids who aren't also powered individuals, so I think this will be fun to explore.

There is a subgenre of Urban Fantasy novels about middle-aged moms fighting demons. I can't remember what it's called. It works for superheroes too.

I probably need to find and read some of those books. They might be relevant for when the time comes for me to publish and market this story.

Her daughter reminds me of my oldest nephew who was famous for not being able to awaken in the mornings.

Some people's bodies just don't want them up in mornings!

I’m really enjoying this. Random side note, I often forget that Lupron is used in trans folks - I get monthly injections too. So I was like, “oh that’s wild.”

I hope to read more and see where this goes. Alice reminds me of my sister lol she always gave my mom trouble with going to school because she’s not a morning person at all

Thanks! I like that you picked up on my reason for including Lupron. I thought I was mostly subtle about that part of who Alice is (and I guess it still is, for those who don't bother to look up Lupron). I believe it also gets used for younger kids who start experiencing puberty too young (like 8-11).

I hope the prompts keep inspiring me with these characters. I know way more about Moon than I've been able to explore so far, too.
