A thoughtful tribute. I enjoyed both of these stories & it's nice to be reminded that she inspired them. Although I was on Skywardprodigal's flist, I never met her in RL but enjoyed her posts.

It seems obvious, but as we get busy with daily life sometimes one forgets -- we never quite know how what we write or otherwise communicate to others will affect people. Our words or images may bring pleasure, or comfort, or spark thoughts about race & representation that lead to good RL conversations or help somone else to feel connected to a community of other writers & thinkers.

It's sad that she passed so suddenly, and my best wishes go out to her family and friends.
