Fic: Earthlight

It was just like the first time she’d stood in the earthlight, only this time there was no Judoon-infested, Plasmavore-hiding hospital behind her.  Just the TARDIS providing oxygen for her passengers to breathe and take in the beauty of a sight only a thousand some-odd people had ever seen.

“I can’t believe I’m here,” Jack murmured from her left.

Lovely stuff. I loved how you addressed the issues brought up during that Year, but didn't make it too angsty. You struck just the right balance.

I loved the Jack/Martha conversation as they tried to process together the year that wasn't. This is going to be so delicious when we actually see them together again on TW, and I just hope we see a conversation similar to this on our TV sets.

Thank you so much! I didn't know exactly who was standing with Martha until Jack's first piece of dialogue, and I just went with it. I'm glad it worked. I am anxiously awaiting that interaction, too, especially since JB all but confirmed they loved each other.
