I was walking in the pouring rain home from Job Centre Plus towards the library to return a book for Emma there. I found myself walking behind a girl wearing a head-scarf (burka?) and her dad. I couldn't walk past them and I was dripping with rain and both the girl and her dad had big umbrellas. Suddenly the dad turned to his daughter and said
