Because it's still new! Do you go hang out with people? (that may be a dumb question) Do you have a job yet? Maybe you should play your guitar on street corners for money. You might meet some cool strangers (and make about 2 bucks). ;-)
yea i hang out with my roommates, they are sweethearts! i also have hung out with some old high school friends a few times and that is always fun. but idk i think i just feel kinda empty. and you're right, it's still new! i still have to get used to being in this big city. slowly but surely :) and yes, i have a job. i'm the grad fellow for the office of retention services and that is going really well, so i can't complain :)
That's awesome (about the job thing). At least you've got something you keep you busy, learning some kind of job skill, and gettin' paid (best part, methinks). Hey- how much did your books cost this semester? Are they more expensive than undergrad books? How are classes? Is the intensity ramped up?
my books only cost like $160 because i found them all on half.com and amazon.com for like $1 hahaha...GREAT deals. they aren't more expensive than undergrad books though...I'd say they're the same. classes are good so far! they aren't harder than undergrad, just a TON more work!!! it's do-able though :)
aw lisa :( I think its normal to feel that way because its completely different from what you were doing before. Bost is a big city so it would be strange to not feel kind of weird comming from a place that is a tad smaller. Its an adjustment, but if you ever need some children from home to talk to, you know you can always send an IM this way :)
