Welcome! I've been on LiveJournal, oh, only about 3 years, and this the first time I've bothered to post anything on my journal. Since I don't have much to contribute in the way of fan fiction (oh, me being mostly a crap writer), I decided I could at least recommend some good stories. Wow! Thanks for responding so quickly! I did post some 9th Doctor recs just now. I have this big list of recs and they sit on my computer's hard drive where no one ever sees them, so I thought it time to remedy the situation. Hope you enjoy the recs!

Hey! Bamfer! I see that you friended me, but alas, I'm presently computerless (and posting from a library), because my old computer's hard drive crashed, I'm not hearing back about whether it's repairable, and I still haven't gone out to buy a laptop. I've been offline for a month now, so grr. If it's not repairable, so much for "No Doctor Here," which I had wanted to try to finish soon...

wow, that sucks. My G4 Mac desktop died recently (but it wasn't the hard drive, most likely the power supply-- unfortunately it's not worth it to fix it so I gave it away but kept my hard drive and stuck it in an external drive enclosure, which allows me to access all my data).

Meanwhile, thank goodness I still have a laptop, else I'd be computerless as well. I have my eye on the Mac Mini (an updated model is supposedly coming out in one or two weeks). Good luck on recovering your data!
