Comedy (take 1)

So I just got back from an open mic Stand-up comedy thing at Giggles. I was probably pretty bad, but I think I'm still going to do it again. But to honor the jokes that bombed horribly, and I will never tell again, I will post them here:

honestly, I just recently mentioned your funniness. You see, normally when things are funny I rarely laugh out loud. But, you see, you are one of those people that I can only maintain my composure for a short time due to your particular brand of funny (ie: milk out of your nose funny in a dry, sarcastic, slightly twisted way). So when I finally break down and laugh out loud it's inappropriately loud because I held the other laughs in too (for the record I don't purposely hold it in. it's just me and what I do). I end up laughing WAY louder, like a spaz, about whatever joke.

kudos to you for being brave.

Hopefully I can actually start bringing that to the stage. Only got one laugh that I felt was entirely genuine in my 7 minutes of shame.
