This weekend was teh fun. Jake, summer's new boyfriend, came to visit again and so we all hung out. Ryan was here most of friday and all of saturday too. omg, we just studied those in my rome art and archaeology class. it's insane how much i know about these pictures lol. if you like carravaggio, you should check out artemisia genteleschi. she was his student & has 2 very similar paintings to the judith and holofernes one. i love love love the apollo and daphne at the top. such great detail.

i know, i heart her. she's amazing. i'm only at the beginning of the book (it's a fictionalized thing about her life, and right now is her rape trial) but it's interesting so far. i'm writing a paper about her next week.
