Too much to take in....

I was saved when I was 8 years old.  Watching Oprah one summer afternoon at my Nana's house.  My mother & grandmother, rocking in wooden rockers in the den of that quaint farm house, me sprawled out on the hard floor. I was so happy to see your post today-- not only because I truly enjoy reading them but because I can so relate to what you have written!!

He does love you!! NO MATTER WHAT! You could sit on a log for the rest of your life and He will love you completely and unconditionally. Oh how we need to let that soak in. I pray you will feel this truth from the top of your head through the tips of your toes, in your heart, spirit and mind!

Love you Friend!

Amen, sister.
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.(JN 17:3) Here in the upper room, Jesus says eternal life is KNOWING God, the Father and God, the Son. That's knowing based on knowledge.
In school we had a class where the assignment every day for 1 month was read I John through completely each morning and evening. John uses the word Know 39 times in that short book. You may already know how many times John uses Love!
To marvel at the fact that He has revealed Himself to us is glorious enough, but to covenent with us and fellowship with us and entertain our praise and resonable service!
To know and BE KNOWN by GOD, WOW!
I could do a whole book on knowing God, but there are so many great ones out there already.
Glad you are back, maybe I'll get started again, who knows?

Doug -- that is awesome! Thank you so much! I just received that so deeply in my spirit. Also, recently learned so much about the word KNOW. I mean, it's one thing to KNOW in your head & KNOW in your heart.
Ephesians 3.19 = "that you may know this love that surpasses knowledge"....another post to come from that..

YES, GETTCHO SELF BACK ON THE LJ!
