Kaki King and the urge to merge

I really want to like Kaki King but I’m decidedly ‘meh’ about her. However, why did I never notice that she is identical to Emy? This creeps me out. Especially since Sara and Kaki dated and according to Christel, there’s rumours that she cheated on Emy (bad Sara, bad!!) with Kaki. That makes no sense. It’s like cheating on a Quin with the other one

Maybe it happens early in a relationship and is based on insecurity: wanting to prove to your partner that your taste is just as good as theirs by choosing clothes and hairstyles they would choose?

Maybe, but how do you exlain the ones that are after years?

Hm. Maybe it's just a result of shopping in all the same stores, going to the same hairdresser, being influenced by the taste of the same group of friends...
