It's official: Americans can no longer take prescription birth control for granted. Yesterday, Monday, July 25, anti-choice representatives in the U.S. House made it clear that they support pharmacies that refuse to fill birth-control prescriptions - and that women have no right to birth control ( Read more... )

I'd like to say that this surprises me, but it really doesn't. The summer issue of Ms. Magazine's lead article was about the current danger to reproductive rights--not even just abortion, but also birth control itself.

What I always wonder in these debates, though, is what these pharmacists would do if they saw men (or women) buying condoms.

...or what they do when men buy Viagra. They can't tell me men are buying Viagra solely to reproduce.
