I feel vaguely guilty reading this, because I have some issues with RPS as a genre. BUT! This is lovely. I like how understated it is in many ways. The camaraderie between all the different people, not just Kit and Richard, is great.

I love the way this deals with their relationship in (sometimes tiny) pieces but still creates a really full picture. The ensemble cast is great, too. And the little motifs like the open door. Nicely done! :D

Ohhh, I loved it! Yes, yes yes! Great thing to wake up to.

And god, I laughed hard at bits, especially because some were that really 'slice of life' dumb shit you say when you are drunk. My favourite bit was the whole thing about them getting trashed and Kit trying to do a Scottish accent and neither of them understanding a word he was saying. That was great (and oddly enough, I do that all the time, though I do a wicked Irish accent). Also almost spat coffee out over the Sean Bean dying question; funny cause it is true, and then the IKEA chat hit a little too close to home. I swear to god my bookcase is lopsided, but somehow it is on the opposite side to the one missing screws... fucking IKEA.

Anyway, I should stop ranting. Know that this was great!! Thank you so much for sharing.

HAHAH THAT LAST SCENE. Oh, I died. So, so badly. Totally rocks that Richard portraits a gay character - all the quotes that can be used to fangirls' and shippers' advantage, I can't imagine. Love it.

You know, the whole fic was just pure joy. It's got just enough of the angst and insecurity for you to get the picture, but not so much that you get that uncomfortable feeling of that something's wrong. It's got warmth, love and friendship, and a huge bonus for including so many of the other actors. It's got that perfect bit of humor that you need, too - I laughed out loud at so many parts - IKEA, Finn in Gethin's bedroom (Lord knows that I died when I read about that in that interview), Sean Bean's role dying and drag queen in Vegas.

And Kit and Richard make such a lovely, wonderful pair. Warm and nice and just the right dose of insecurity, affection, friendship and love. Love it, adore it, worship it. And I loved this fic, thank you so much for sharing ♥
