I mention my doll obsession from time to time, but I never really post about it. I love beautiful, 'perfect' ball-jointed-dolls, but I'm interested in many kinds of dolls. In the previous entry I mentioned Ghost in The Shell II: Innocence. In the movie you can spot Hans Bellemer's book. Not sure how many of you are aware of this, but the opening is

When I look at Bellmer's photos, I think 'cancer'... I find most of those pictures disturbing. I think Omi would make a very pretty doll though. ^_^

I am not huge fan of Bellmer-- I find his Doll, pictures very interesting, but I don't care much about the philosophy. I certainly am more fond of him thanks to Gits, I love everything that reminds me of the movie.

Omi would make the cutest doll ever! :P I really like playing with the scenerio of Omi getting changed into a doll. One of the reasons I am fond of Eternal Angel-- it inspires me.
