I remember when I was a kid I spent most of my weekends playing around the huge Pandan Valley compound with my cousins and neighbours. Our parents would give us a dollar or 2 each so we could buy some snacks from the minimart and we would then entertain ourselves at the playground/pool/pond or just by making up games. Fun times. I do feel like the weather in SG has gotten much hotter since though. Or maybe it just bothers me a lot more when I get older. Kids do not seem to care about the heat when they are playing outside. :p
Me too! We used to play silly games at my grandma's void decks. And time will just while by so quickly. Nowadays I find that parents r a lil afraid to let their kids play away from their supervision, like the way we used to play. So as much as I can, I'll bring these kids around to their cousins' so that they can have some of what we had as kids.;) but yes! It's crazily warm these days!!!
