I'm so sorry but the couch-potato boringness of my life has disintegrated my head into making the most random of thoughts seem oh so very important. Oh, I thought she made a great Elizabeth too.
The new P&P movie doesn't seem to have all the elements that made me love Colin and Ms. Ehle.
I've seen the trailer a few times and I think the main problem of the movie is that it doesn't seem to be faithful to the spirit of the book. For me, at least, the novel's Elizabeth and Darcy were kept apart mostly because of their , well, pride and prejudice -- in the movie, their biggest problem was that they belonged to different social/economic classes. The real Darcy wouldn't let a little thing like class get in the way of what he wanted. And he would totally never make those expressions the film Darcy was making in the trailer.
