You know, all that talk about Libby & AnaLucia possibly being killed off because of the actresses' drunk driving spree... it suddenly, belatedly occured to me that *maybe* they went out and got piss drunk because they learned that their characters were going to be killed off ( ... )

I don't want it to be purgatory, but nothing else makes sense at the moment. They spend a ton of time emphasizing the crazy coincidences and intertwining lives of all these people. Obviously this is significant to the storyline. Frankly, it's impossible for all of it to have been engineered by a multinational corporation, no matter how rich the founder is. There's no such thing as a Coincidence Machine and no one will believe it if they say there is one ( ... )
