Challenge Eleven Voting

Apr 23, 2009 08:22

Thank you to everyone for getting your entries in. Onto the voting...

Voting Rules [Please Read all this information before voting!]:
Vote for the TWO (2) icons of the lowest quality, giving reasons.
Reasons should not be things like, "I don't like the font", "I don't like the colour yellow", "It's ugly", etc. Don't use words like 'bad' and 'weird'. Personal reasons are NOT allowed. If you provide reasons like this, i will ask you to change your vote (If you don't change your vote in time it will not be counted).
Please give me real reasons, like: the texture is overpowering, the icon is oversaturated, etc.
Also, please don't state 'It looks like nothing/hardly anything was done to the icon; please point out something that is actually on the icon itself. If you have trouble thinking of how to negatively critique an icon, perhaps instead of saying what's wrong with it, try to say what could be better, e.g. 'The icon would be improved with added contrast'.
Remember the point of the LIMS is to help iconmakers improve their icons, not for you to be mean.

Also you must vote for your ONE (1) favorite icon. A reason is not required here, but it's always nice to get positive feedback.

Do not vote for your own icons.
Post your vote as a comment to this post; all comments are screened.

Everyone is allowed to vote: if you are taking part you must vote!

Results will be up on Friday with an elimination, one people's choice and one mod's choice. As all icon makers have submitted two icons, results will be calculated the usual way for each icon, and then adding together the points each maker got.

PLEASE VOTE! All the participants must be voting regularly, and hopefully a lot of our other members too. The more votes we get, the fairer the result and it really helps eliminate ties. We've got more icons to vote on this week so I do need a higher turnout that recent weeks!
