Shocking! This is my first post of the year.  Real life has taken over and stifled the geek in me.... until now!  Since reading the Star Trek world premiere reports from Sydney and Austin (lucky bastards, err I mean fellow Trekkies), I've started to hunt for more Trek morsels to tide me over during this one month wait.  Beam me up, Scotty!

Get on the Alamo Drafthouse mailing list, maybe? I checked it out religiously whenever I was in town but nothing like this was ever on!

Best part was the reaction when Nimoy showed up and said "I think it's wrong that Australia should be the first to see the new movie. I think it really should have its world premiere right here, tonight, in Austin."
