NBCU to launch Universal and SCI FI in Singapore

Finally! SCI FI comes to Asia. Source here. Hmm... I wonder if they're hiring?

-flails around- uh, like July 2008 or July 2008? Because zomg! It'll be great if they could bring down casts of some of their shows down for promotions and stuff too. -coughBSGcough-

Sci Fi and Universal are in Singapore now!Premiere shows in Sci Fi include Heroes Unmasked, SG-1, Battlestar Galactica and jPod

Excellent! Do you know which channel? Can we assess it as Starhub cable subscribers?

Thrilled to see Stargate finally in Singapore. BSG was expected but I hope SCIFI will also take risks and show some classic genre shows that may have received less "hype" recently. The list of is endless: Star Trek, Babylon 5, Firefly, Farscape, Doctor Who, Quantum Leap, The X-Files, Space, Above and Beyond....

Heck, even though it's shown on other local networks, I wouldn't mind reruns of Supernatural, Heroes, Lost, Dark Angel or Buffy too.

Yes, there're reruns of Heroes plus not seen before behind the scenes series - Heroes Unmasked. Firefly, Star Trek Quantum Leap - check! Plus Outer Limits, Xena, Medium, Sliders, Mutant X. Andromeda and Jericho!

It's on Ch 98 think you need to pay slightly more - $5/month I think.
