Four memes and me

Feb 17, 2007 08:00

Chinatown is waaay too crowded. I got off the bus from work and couldn't bring myself to wield my laptop to thwart off the hordes of tourists, locals and hawkers between me and my (very belated) Chinese New Year goodies. Urk!

Oh, God, I so want to go over there and go shopping with you! It would be so much fun. We could try on things and try to get bargains on things. Then we could stop in some little place and get a light lunch with Cokes (diet for me, please). Then we could shop some more and maybe get a good deal on something to hang in the living room. Maybe go to a food shop and get stuff to make dinner. Yes, maybe Chinatown would be crowded but if we were doing it together we would never get lost in the crowd.
/sigh/ Do boats go where you are?

:Big grin:

You know I live on top of this little hill near Chinatown, right? That's EXACTLY what everyone who visits does! I've to walk through those little alleys on my way home from work (via the Chinatown bus stop) and never get tired of checking out all the knick-knacks. Meanwhile, visit this Wikitravel site for a virtual "taste" of what's great in the area. Our home is on one of those maps! ;)

PS - Do airplanes qualify? Hee, almost said "jumpers" there.

I'm actually surprised by my 99% on idealism as I find myself always treading the optimist-realist line... Perhaps it's high only b/c it's against my peers (gender and age), and most people do get rather jaded/cynical with age (?) The first overall score: 50 Idealism, 37 Nonconformity, 58 Nerdiness, makes a lot more sense to me, and is (un)surprisingly consistent with my so-called "green" brain.

Hee. Wow, that was way too much analysis on a fun meme! Guess my nerd side won out here.

aww thank you for YOUR awesomeness! *hugz* back :D Any bets that you come out as Isaac? The funny thing is, when I took the test, I thought it'll be Peter. Again. Was pleasantly surprised with Micah and think there's a certain "childlike/ dreamer" quality across Peter, Micah (and Hiro), which I probably identify with. Micah edged out this time b/c of my current "tech" job.... geek out!

Well my reaction to mine was LMAO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Though *ahem* I wouldn't mind being in her position... hehe I'll post it shortly ;)

Yeah that's true *nods* LOL so does that mean we dub you with the technopath power now?

Well, hello there Simone! How's Peter and Isaac doing? I hear you've been visiting Adrian too. Making your way around the hot men, I see....

Haha. Technopath? Hardly. I admit I'm a geek but my solution to all tech problems is: CTRL+ALT+DELETE or turn (insert appropriate power source) off for 1 minute. Failing that, it's call the closest IT hotline.
