Hee! I think quirky-interesting describes it well. As a kid I loved this show with a passion. All the wonderful costumes and the strange architecture was just mesmerising.

The first picture reminded me of Discworld. After that you had my attention. They don't seem similar except for a sense of the quirky--as always, thanks for sharing!

You're welcome. :) I think this series is a bit hard to find, but should you stumble on to it I would recommend it. the originality of both the story and concept is almost fable like.
