The second suit is my favourite as well, though I adore the helmet on the first one.
And you're right - it's very whimsical. ;D
I keep pondering how on earth he came up with the idea!? I love that he did though - it strikes me as surreal and poignant all at the same time.

Hmm..perhaps, as someone mentioned further down, it has that gloomy, Mountain of Doom lighting. Despite that I still think it's a little cute - maybe because its so small?

Are they not just the greatest? I'd like to know how the artist came up with the idea. Is full plate armour for cats something people think about often?

And judging by your icon they'd have the attitude to wear it! ;) I love the helmet on the first one, but there is just something so shiny with about the second one that I must admit liking that one best.
