Actually its Harald Fair Hair. He was the legendary king who united Norway, and has Hardrada beat by a 150 years or so. But I think he is only famous in Norway, so why I picked those two as an example is beyond me. Probably because the Norwegian royal line is filled to the brim with Harald's. But yes - Hardrada died at Stamford.

It most definitely is. I still get all giddy while reading it - even if I've read it I don't know how many times.
