And I love YOU for always noticing these little things! I had a "heart jump" experience. I was in the book shop in London looking for something to read on the train and saw a think new book in MArtin's row. I knew it couldn't be a new book from ASOIF but my heart jumped anyways.

Oh I know the feeling! It happened to me while waiting for "Feast". We need the next book soon! Rumours say the fall, but I doubt it. More like winter or early next year I think. :(

And I was so happy to have noticed the little text echo. Go Jaime for not being obsessed with his horrible sister. Hee.

Hee! I know! I want the next book - NOW!

The fun thing was that I was actually rereading "Feast" and came across that sentence, thought; 'Hmm...this reminds me of something' - and spent the next HOUR looking through the books. ;D

BTW - another thing that struck me, and that wasn't as fun, was the way Cersei in "Feast" kept juxtaposing Jaime and Robert. Once in a conversation with Taena, and later when comparing beards. It might mean nothing of course, but I found it very ominous.
