Most def!

So I’ve spent the day at a seminar on photography. From this I’ve learned two things.

1.When they key note speaker looks like the twin brother of Nathaniel Parker - aka Inspector Lynley among other things - and has a wonderful, honey voice it is extremely easy to get distracted. When he starts talking about the sensuality and the intimacy ( Read more... )

Did the arbitrary stillness woman wear a lot of black and have severe eyeglass frames?

Hee! She did - as well as a slightly asymmetric haircut. And help - I'm going back there tomorrow for the second day of the seminar. Hopefully they will have titles that actually makes sense to me. :P

And I felt bad for Dawg too.
That said the interrogation with Bunk, McNultey and Cheese was extremely funny. I love that "The Wire" between all the gritty realism is sometimes laugh out loud funny.

And really - how could I stay away from Titus Pullo? Especially after your picspam of sweaty muscled arms? Hee! Rome & The Wire - I just feel like a kid in a huge candy shop.

Oh dear me! As long as you are not going to abandon him, though, I'm totally OK with your watching Stringer Bell too (because it IS all about what I want, of course!)

Hee. Of course. ;D And really - how could I abandon Titus Pullo? Especially after the kiss in last episode? Now Stringer might be cool, and the chair does recognize his ass, but Titus wins out in the snuggling apartment. *g*

Those titles sound like pretentious college lit mag poetry! Or perhaps pretentious fanfic titles on FF.net. It's like refrigerator magnet poetry - take 3-7 Profound Words and shake :D The distracting key note speaker sounds quite enjoyable.

I finally found a friend whose parents have HBO and have recorded Rome, so I will finally get to see it. I have been dying, seeing discussions of it everywhere and not wanting to spoil myself.

LOL! That would explain so much! In addition I think it would be a great idea to have "Academic themed magnetic Poetry" - after all they have "Romantic Themed" and so forth. And the "Academic themed" could contain words like "semiotic", "ritualistic" etc. ;P

have recorded Rome, so I will finally get to see it.

YAY! Have you seen season one? It is a really great show. Not always exactly historical correct, but enough so that it isn't annoying. Also it has great actors, great plot - and the setting of Rome itself is great. But since I love the show I'm biased. hee.

I loved season one so much. I love all the color they have - it's so great to see Rome not in all white. I have been dying to see Octavian start using his brilliance - he manages to be so adorable but calculating and ruthless at the same time. And oh, Pullo and Vorenus, one of the greatest buddy pairs ever. One of my favorite moments was when they were looking at the stars and Pullo was trying to figure out what they were, and Vorenus was trying to explain the current theory. Hee :D

yes - exactly! And I love how all the streets are narrow and dirty, and how they have graffiti on the walls and such. It feels like a live and true city.

And I completely agree that Pullo and Vorenus are one of the best buddy pairs ever, and I love that star scene!Hee!

And Octavian is so far very good and very interesting in S2, and there are a few new characters as well that are really good. So yay!

I want that professor in every possible way. And now I can't stop thinking about A Woman's Guide to Adultery, which is an absolutely awful movie but has Sean Bean as a photography professor. Mmmmmm.

Hee! I actually thought of you during that session. I remember you posting something about Nathaniel Parker and I know you love photography. So when twin!Parker started talking about the intimacy of photograph I though: "Oh help! nutmeg3 should have been here now. ;D
