Don't tell him anything. Pete keeps telling me he wants me to stop treating him like a child, then asks for special favors. If he wants to know something, he can learn to ask.

Of course I'll respect your wishes, but I think if you were to talk to him about this, it would really help patch up your relationship. Poor guy seems pretty confused about the whole thing.

No point in not telling someone what they did wrong, or they'll just keep doing it, am I right?

He's confused because he either chooses not to ask or he doesn't believe the answers. I don't appreciate him going behind my back to ask you for information about me. We're supposed to be brothers.

Reading my file doesn't give you any idea of what my family is like. And since you don't know anything about us? It's not really your place to be telling me how I should handle my baby brother. He hasn't done anything wrong that he'll keep doing. He just wants to take the easy road and I'm not gonna let him.

Actually, I'm your warden. It's my place, my business, whatever you want to call it. And I'd really like to work together instead of butting heads. But here I go, issuing orders.

Talk to your brother. Have an honest conversation with him. Don't treat him like a child or someone who's "confused" or whatever it is you're doing that has him in knots. Don't decide what's best for him. You don't get to "let" him do anything. He's a grown man, he can make decision for himself.
