Hello little journal of mine. I really need to start updating this again. I'm so glad I have all these memories recorded somewhere to go back and read, although it's bittersweet. At times I would love to go back in time, but I know that's not possible. I miss happier days when my kids were young and at home more, and I was able to do more with

So glad to hear how Nicolle is fitting in, how great for her. And hopefully Rachel will find her niche, also. She sounds ambitious, anyway -- maybe the rest will come with time. Life balance is hard!
Sorry about your loss of biscuit -- that's always so sad.

Yea, kids are doing fine and I think Rachel will be happier once she's finished with high school. She gets too busy now and stressed and high school can be rough.
I do miss Biscuit, but glad I have the rest of my babies to keep me company. :)

I find fb is great for short updating and keeping in touch with a wide variety of people but that's also its downfall -- large variety of audience and I'm not going to go real in depth there, either.
Still. The quick random details of life go on there quicker, and then so entices the longer explanations make it here. :)

Facebook is great for short updates and keeping up with family and everyone. I do like this for more in depth writing and I also like to keep it more private. Probably wouldn't share this journal with any of my relatives.

I tell Rachel all the time to enjoy high school while she's still in it. I hate it that she chose to work so much instead of getting involved in school activities. At least she's making it a point to go to the homecoming dance (last school dance she'll have) and she's also the secretary of DECA this year (business club.) I think she's just in such a hurry to grow up and has matured so much in the past year that she feels out of place with a lot of the kids there. That's ok. She'll have 8 months of no school after this semester and then she plans on attending a business college next year to become a certified massage therapist. Then she has plans to travel and move somewhere else which bothers me to no end, but I know that's part of life. :) I just want her to be safe and happy.
