8| WELL BE CAREFUL. I don't know where exactly you are down South, but down near the Carolinas it's supposed to be category 3.

Oh, I'm in North Carolina. Well inland (halfway across the state, or so), but still in North Carolina. But we've seen a lot of hurricanes down here over the years (Fran, Floyd, Bob, Bonnie, Erin, Hugo, Isabel, Irene...), so we've got this pretty much knocked. Not that it won't hurt, but we've been through them before and we'll be okay.

I mean, I guess that I'm not panicking too much, because I keep going 'oh man, I hope I have enough power in my computer left to post to HMD'. But still pretty paranoid. That's genetic, though. Maybe. >.>'

Hopefully people will be fine. I have some friends who seem to be in the danger zone about this, and one of them really would not be able to recover if they get a lot of damage about it. D:

Oh, crap! I'm hoping it will be alright? Like, every time some announcer says 'well, thankfully, it will only be category 3 waaaay down south for a short amount of time and that will slow it down' I'm like 'BUT WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE DOWN IN THAT AREA'.

It is only a small area that's going to be that heavily affected, but it's still worrisome, but at least hopefully your friend isn't in it.
