To anyone that voted conservative;

Thanks a lot for ruining Joshuas childhood, fucking up the country and putting more jobs at risk than ever before.

I didn't vote conservative, but I kinda think this is a harsh thing to write. You're entitled to your opinion, but so is everyone else.

The bit about Josh I find especially harsh...

I voted Lib Dem and they want to cut tax credits (which obviously I don't agree with as we pretty much live on them) but I do think a lot of their other policies are right.

Face the fact that no Government will be perfect and there will always be pros and cons to whatever we end up with.

I agree it's harsh.

People are allowed to vote according to their convictions. Conservative, Lib Dem, Labour, BNP (barf.), SNP, etc. The whole point of voting is so everyone can vote in accordance with their belief system. While I'd never vote conservative it doesn't mean that they are ruining Josh's childhood blah blah.

In the last US election I had friends (and family) vote Republican. I'd never tell them that they fucked up the country or anything else that extreme even though I thought (and still think) McCain/Palin would have been crap in office.

(uh, this is obviously aimed at Tom :P I just wanted to say that I agreed with you, Bel.)

At the end of the day its a moot point - i could quite easily blame t he labour party for my entire student debt - and actually seeing as they compltly advocated it ever since i was a child they are partly to blame but Josh is currently having a happy childhood is he not - so currently it is not as you state ruined

you will never know that any other party will be better than the other - hindsight is an extremely beneficial tool but one we are not privieleged too

You can not honestly say that the labour party these days are much different

plus at least the tories want to level our fuel prices

To be honest this sort of comment is better for Facebook than here where you are basically attacking your limited friends list here so thanks.

And like hollie said it aint over yet.

Yes its Tom's LJ exactly...half of the people who can see this are American (or other) and so its nothing to them and the other half are supposed to be his friends so to me it looks likes he's blaming me and everyone else for destroying your sons life (as he doesn't know who voted for who so its aimed at all of us)...so yeah thanks for that :p very nice ;)

Like Amber said hindsight is a wonderful thing and I find it amusing that politics makes people so very opinionated and gives them the "end of the world" attitude :P Facebook is full of it, people all complaining how we're doomed. Seriously when I wake up in the morning to be honest it won't have changed a thing :) Its one man. One party. For all we know they'll be out by September :p

Politics just sucks plain and simple :p
