So I’ve been following this community for months, trying to get the courage to join and post. I’m a bit nervous because I’m certainly no expert. I enjoy baking, but most of what I’ve done is based on mixes. But since I’ve spent what feels like the entirety of December making cookies and candy for gifts, I thought I’d share.

I’ve baked like 10 dozen ( Read more... )

Google is paying 97$ per hour! Work for few hours and have longer with friends & family! On tuesday I got a great new Land Rover Range Rover from having earned $8752 this last four weeks. Its the most-financialy rewarding I've had. It sounds unbelievable but you wont forgive yourself if you don’t check it

I used your recipe and made shortbread just now for the first time in my life. It tasted amazing! Who'da thunk that just four ingredients (I used salted sweet cream butter) could turn out so super delicious?!

I was so nervous the first time I made it. Then I realized how easy and forgiving it really was. Now I make it several times a year (much to my Dad's delight).

I'm glad it turned out so great for you too!

I'm very interested in trying the cream cheese mint recipe. Thank you for sharing it. Have you ever added baking cocoa? How do you think that might work?

I haven't tried it, but I would add that in place of some of the powdered sugar. The sweetness from the rest of the sugar and cream cheese should cover the bitterness.

I'll start with a half batch and switch out a 1/3 of a cup powdered sugar for cocoa... I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks, by the way, for posting the recipe. I've never heard of cream cheese mints but they sound intriguing and fairly straightforward. I'm looking forward to giving it a try.

Please do let me know. If it works for you, then I forsee chocolate-orange candies coming my way!

These are so simple in the process, but so very time consuming before you can do much with them, that I don't know how often I will make them. They were a huge hit when thrown into our Christmas gift boxes of cookies.
