Gluten-free brownies using cooked quinoa in place of flour, and built for two. Well, again I have to say probably more like four. But two if you're me and have no problem nomming a 4x4 brownie in one go.
They turned out pretty well, I think. Not bad for a second shot (first involved pear puree in place of sugar and a disastrous attempt at calculating dry ingredient ratios), and I like the extra protein. :)
Conveniently enough, I have some leftover quinoa right now. :-D (Unfortunately, I also am taking medication that makes things taste funny, including chocolate. Hmmm. Might have to delay making this for a little bit.)
Looks fabulous, though! Also, you do realize that now you need to post the semifreddo recipe, even if it's not something you bake. ;-)
Boo hiss for that medication ... except, of course, for the fact it's doing something positive elsewhere. ;)
Ah, mmm, semifreddo I kind of just cobbled together based on this recipe (I forgot key ingredients, had to fake it with cayenne, but I soooo want to go back and do this one) and got lucky. I'm the sort that once I know the basic proportions, I am a hazard to myself. I made a divine mint chocolate chip semifreddo a month ago. I'm still reliving it.
