Dutch Roomboter Banketstaaf (Flaky Pastry with Almond Filling)

Roomboter Banketstaaf is a traditional Dutch Christmastime treat, and it made me fall in love with the Netherlands. Flaky, buttery pastry surrounds a creamy almond filling. I'd love to make this for my family, but I'm having trouble finding Almond Paste. Anyone in Australia know a larger-scaleish supplier (ie Coles?)
