Doughnuts? Donuts? Little round doughy things that taste quite alright. I love the smell of pumpkin spice lattes, but a gnarly caffeine allergy deters me from a morning cuppa. That's okay. If I can retcon regular flour out of the recipe it needs to go in my itty-bitty muffin tins. Where there's a can of waiting pumpkin, there's a way.

This sounds delightful. Our shops over here don't sell canned pumpkin but I can always make my own pureed pumpkin.
I have little mini muffin tins.
I will try these next weekend

No, I'm in Australia.
When I am going to make something that requires canned pumpkin puree I have baked pumpkin as one of the side dishes to my previous night's dinner. I bake extra and mash it up to use the next day as my 'canned' pumpkin puree.
