Yay :) I'm glad you made some grape pie. I hope it tasted bomb, and that crust looks nice and flakey. Any recs on recipe changes or did it work well for you?

Have never seen Concord grapes for sale. Seriously considering adding a vine to my garden so I can (one day) try this...

Hah, planting a vine, that's dedication right there! I actually don't know where they originate from. You can use any kind of Concord-like grape for the pie though (just squeeze the grape and if it shoots out its skin, that's the right type).

Grape pie is delicious! I made one last year - not out of concord grapes, but another small blue-ish kind that we get in BC - and, man, it was good enough to excuse the somewhat frustrating process of unskinning the grapes, hehe.
