I needed something quick, easy and yummy for a colleague's birthday this week and after poking through my cupboards to see what I still had lying around at home, I came up with this...
I don't like coffee, but seeing this I immediately wanted to know what the topping is and how you created it. And that's the one bit that's not in the recipe! Any chance we could get details on that?
Sorry about that! I actually just whipped some cream and piped it on and then drizzled some toffee syrup on top.
I actually don't like coffee either - at least if I'm supposed to drink it. In cake and cookies and icecream, though - I really love it. Maybe you should give it a try that way as well! ;)
Looks tasty! Quick question: what is a "p"? Does it mean "package"? If so, what size package? (I'm used to seeing 8-oz packages of cream cheese in the US, but sour cream comes in all sizes.)
Yes, it's package and I keep forgetting that not every country has the same package sizes. In this case, I actually mean 8oz. packages, though, both for the cream cheese and sour cream!
This looks really yummy. I can't be alone with good looking food so I'll have to wait until the federal shutdown is over to try this. My colleagues are my taste testers. I hate having all this free time to experiment but not enough places to put the excess.
