It's been aaaaaages since I dropped by here. I have a lot to catch up on, and a lot to catch you guys up on! This dessert is from as far back as Christmas, but it's really an any time dessert so I'll post it anyway. I couldn't not share with you my all time favourite dessert.

When I was in New Zealand last year, I had pavlova for the first time. It was served with a passionfruit sauce that was just diviiiiine. I was kind of surprised to see that it actually turned up in the last level of my patisserie coursework! So it may be slowly catching on over on this side of the Pacific. :p

The idea of a wreath is really nice, though. Thanks for the inspiration!

Looks gorgeous! I try to make pavlova at least once every summer when all the berries are at their ripest. I really like how you made it into a wreath. So pretty. It's true that most people here (in Canada) have never heard of pavlova. Meringue isn't something most people eat here unless it's on top of Lemon Meringue or Key Lime Pie. I only found out about it from watching Come Dine With Me. I couldn't believe how much the Brits seemed to love meringue. :)
