Easiest Cookies Ever

My mom gave me this recipe. I have no idea where she got it from, but it's my go-to cookie recipe when I'm short on time, or need to make a lot of cookies for an event. These cookies are soft and chewy, even after several days (as long as they are stored in an air-tight container).

The little scoop I use to form the dough balls holds exactly one tablespoon, and I make sure it's a level scoop, which is how I'm able to get around 60 cookies out of a batch... assuming I don't eat too much of the dough. ;)

haha, that's good to know. If I make this when I go home, I have a feeling the majority of the dough will disappear into the void that is my brother. XD

Thanks for posting. The options for chocolate and lemon seem amazing. I would like to try the chocolate ones for my husband.

Seems pretty easy and cheaper for me than buying tons of ingredients that I rarely use (I bake rarely).

My mom has experimented with other cake/pudding combinations, like yellow cake and pistachio pudding (maybe add some almond extract to punch up the flavor), Funfetti cake and vanilla pudding, etc. They all seem to turn out pretty well.
