Reminds me a lot of shakshuka a slightly spicy version of eggs and tomato. I highly recommend checking around for a shakshuka recipe.

Oh, this is a very interesting idea!
The only way I actually like eggs is poached(runny yolk, yummy<3) - and tomatoes as a bonus!!!

Yes, that's how my grandmother makes them in Tuscany :) delicious!
(I'm wondering whether the name of it might not be "babbo's eggs" instead, which is the regional word for "father"?)
