Stout Gingerbread

Here is a classic gingerbread, spicy and moist. It's not dense and sugary enough to be called a "cake" to me, but it's a delicious little sweet bread to snack on throughout the holidays. I made this a few days ago and my mom has already asked for it again--but this time, a double batch.

Oh my gosh, I want to slather this with apple butter and eat the whole dish. Looks amazing!

I made it with Mendocino Imperial Stout. Came out *reaaaaallly* good!
