These look delicious! I always try to add some whole wheat flour to my baking recipes. Do you sub half the white with wheat or do you do the whole amount?
Thank you! In this case I planned to go for the whole amount, just because I've used this recipe a lot and know it well. Otherwise, it's just very much based on how I feel that day. I kind of make up a good portion of my baking on the fly, which is a terrible habit because the recipes end up sounding like this one.
Yup, I usually end up modifying recipes. I've written some things down in the margins of cookbooks. But when I go back to read them, either I don't know which changes I'm referring to or I haven't written it down. Not to mention the little pieces of paper I jot things on & then stuff in the book. I really am trying to write down my experiments - and keep straight which ones worked! lol
