I have a trick for rolling cookies in the powdered sugar. I put my sugar in a big bowl, add the cookies a few at a time, and spoon the sugar over them. Then I use a slotted spoon to fish them out, tap the spoon a few times against the bowl to remove the excess sugar and voila - perfectly sugared cookies instead of fingers. I keep the sugar in a big resealable freezer bag and use it for all the cookies that need coating. Hope this helps.
I had never heard of these cookies out in "the real world" (aka besides from my mom making them) til last year. I love love love these. I hope my mom makes some for Christmas and saves some for me. :x
