Hm, can anyone suggest to me a good, decent length manga series to start on? Been reading my way through Onemanga's archives, recently finished Inuyasha, Hitman Reborn, D.Grayman and Tenjou Tenge...

I've read a fair bit of Berserk, might look into Monster though.

Watched it, and I own the live action DVD. Not read the manga, is it worth it if I've seen it?

Some things are a bit different in anime than in the manga. The arc after you know who dies is longer, and ending is presented differently although the essence is still the same. Live action movies have a completely different ending from the manga/anime.
