Reporting from Beta Blogs.

Bloody hell.

It’s been how long since I last posted here? (Posting about things that turn up in my inbox do not count.)
It’s been how long since I last did some decent beta work? (Catherine has quoted some ‘running commentary’ from me of my beta work - I choose to have fun with it).

So, so so. Are you naturally left-handed? :O :O :O

Cause you said 'work with your left hand' when you 'stammer', and that makes me think you're normally left-handed because studies prove that if you force a child to use their right when their left-handed, stammering often results! :O It has to do with R-mode and L-mode brain activity~~ \o/

I don't know; I kept getting told to use my right hand all the time in primary school - even had to use special pens to force me to use it, and it always hurt when I had to use my left hand because of the way the pencil was made.
Now, I'm partially ambidexterous, but need to work on my left hand more.
And yeah, stammer got worse when I wasn't allowed to use my left hand at all.

You are naturally left-handed then! Most lefties are forced to become ambidextrous when they are made to use their right hands. It's as bad as if someone forced someone who was right-handed to write left-handed.

Why did they make you use special pencils to make you write with your right hand? There's plenty of stuff out there that says that it's bad for a child's development.

Did you also have a lot of right/left confusion, i.e. not being able to point in the correct direction right or left on first guess and in fact become very disoriented and confused about it? That is also very common when a person is a stammerer because of forced right-handedness.

Yes. Took me FOREVER to learn which one was which.

I know. It felt wonderful when they stopped giving me the pencils and I could use my left hand - and then they gave me these things to go around normal pencils, and made me use those on my right hand.
Now that I come to think of it, the other few kids with the silly pencils in the class were probably left handed too. I know that one of them kept protesting that he was, and that he shouldn't have to use the silly pencils.
