Just what I wanted to see between them! It was heartbreaking watching Gwen suffer from Lancelot's stupid nobility, even though it's obvious that she loves that about him.

Yeah... it kinda sucks. You wish he wouldn't be stupid and try to do what he thinks is right to such an extreme, but he wouldn't be the Lancelot she loves if'n he didn't. Silly boy. ^_^ Thanks for the comment.

Everything about this is perfect. There are so many lines I could quote back to you, but this one struck me the most:

"Before Gwen, I had lost my reason for being," Lancelot says. "She's given me that back, at least. I will strive to be worthy of it. Arthur is already the king I would serve. It seems only fitting that she should be the queen."

I love Lancelot. I love how you've written him. Perfect, I'll say again.

MERLIN IS SO IN LOVE. He's such a woobie. I must say, Merlin/Arthur is my ship of choice, but the Arthur/Gwen has lots of opportunity for angsty pining!Merlin, which I love as well. :D I'm a sadist or something. Thanks for the comment!
