Yes, yes, yes. I like, I like. I like a lot. I especially like the revised ending. Much more realistic, and I can definitely see that happening in my head.

Good job, m'dear. :D You know I love your writing, as always.

Don't freak out!! Study what you can study. It's all you can do. Other than that, if you're screwed you're screwed. Just do what you can do, and keep in mind what you have control over.

And yes, I did just spout advice that was from Carrie, that was from your father.

Yes. I am now your father.

This is IC and fantastic. I love how Tuna helped Andy, opposed to in Gossip where he kind of goes, "Oh, major identity crisis? Perfect time for a joke!"

Yaaay! Yeah, I figure that in Gossip, for the most part Jim was just being jokey because he thought Andy was just being silly, and not really having an identity crisis so much as he was ANDY and very impressionable.

I have a feeling (mostly prompted by the semi-helpful and serious way that Jim gave Michael advice about Holly) that if Andy seriously came to Jim having a freak-out, I-don't-know-how-to-win-him-back moment, Jim would listen. Cuz he's a swell guy, even if he doesn't always like to admit it. XD

Thanks for the comment!

Totally butting in here... I actually thought Jim's advice in Gossip was...sort of good advice. About sleeping with both and "comparing". Though it's not a good idea to go out and sleep with just anyone, or the first person who comes along, I think the idea behind it is not too bad. Andy seems like he's never realized that sleeping with men was an option at all, and to Jim, the only way to know something like that is to try it.

But maybe that's just me being silly because I adored that entire exchange. :3

Nahh, you're not being silly. Of course, the idea of trying it out isn't too bad if, like you said, you've come across someone you're attracted to and comfortable with and who you'd like to try it with. But I'm honestly of the opinion that the adage, "you don't know until you try" is just silly when applied to sexuality. Most straight people know they're straight and similarly for bi, gay, whatever, and the part where sexual confusion comes in is, like you said, when you just haven't really considered the fact that actually, you have the option to act upon the feelings that are already pre-existing. You might not 100% know, but you certainly have to have a strong inkling of your own attractions. *gets off her bisexual soap-box* :D ( ... )

This is fantastic. Seriously, wow. It's so in-character it blows my mind. Andy's voice in particular cracks me up. And I love the little use of Spanish in Oscar's head.

I *almost* teared up at Andy's speech. He's just such a sweet boy and I want so badly for him to be happy. I really, really hope you write more of this. :)

Yaaaay! I'm glad you enjoyed! The in-character bit is always really important to me, and I have lovely betas who keep me on track (though Andy is difficult as FUCK to write, I have to tell you, I end up re-writing everything he says, like, ten times). I'm glad it seemed in character to you! And ah, the Spanish was totally fangirl-ish-ly self serving, and I WANTED for him to say in his head "I'm a fucking moron" or something to that effect, but when I asked Patrick, my only bilingual Spanish-English friend, he's like, "Well, I don't think they would really say that- I know how to directly translate it, but it might not really mean in Spanish what you want it to mean. If you want him to just have a self-deprecating bemoaning-his-fate kind of attitude, just have him say, 'oh God, SHIT.' because people say that all the time ( ... )

this and the one before it are just lovely pieces of work, and I love how you've highlighted all the ways in which they contrast which further strengthens the appeal of this relationship <3

also, the last line = pure win!
