Seventh Icicle Falls [voice]

Feb 02, 2011 15:47

-There is very gentle sobbing heard over the journals. And a few attempts at scribbling words, but the person making the entry just can't seem to manage it. So eventually, she speaks. It's difficult to understand through the crying, but some may be able to make it out.-

I... I need help. I dunno where I am. I hurt all over. Please... someone help ( Read more... )

[instead of answering, San is just going to look for you. Surely she knows the non-humans drifting around here by now]

-She's pretty much in the middle of the north-western woods, closer to the barrier but a far distance away from the village OR the lake.-

[[ I'll also link this thread to Mercury and Tear so that we can do this all on one thread. ]]

[Mercury just leaves one more message before she's on her way, using the water itself to guide her to Cirno.]

I might be angry later. But we'll talk about it then.

[She's learned to be a lot more honest with her feelings. It will probably go well.]

(ooc: anything decided about who's getting there first/post order/what's happening? XD)

[Since she can't navigate by smell the way she had during the experiment, it would take San a bit longer to locate something so small. But she had a sizable head-start on the other two, and being familiar with the paths of the forest would help a great deal.

And it's likely that she's not in such a mood that she would refuse company in the search. This time.]

[[ooc: Nnnnope, no idea.]]

[[ I'm figuring free form for now. Tear's player isn't even on right now as far as I can tell, so it's just y'all ]]

[She ran swiftly, the straightest path she could find towards Cirno. It didn't matter what had happened before; it had been an event and even she realized that. And besides, Cirno was hurt. Perhaps the doctor came before the soldier after all.]

[it's probably pure luck that San comes across the fairy when she does. It would be just as easy to choose another path, or turn around completely before going that far.

It helps, sometimes, to live as far from the village as she and Moro do.

Not that there's much she can do for Cirno except try to make the 'spirit' warm again.]

[Mercury arrives just as San does. She catches her breath as she slows, even though she keeps her steps brisk.]

We should get her back where it's warm. I can try to warm her a little before then, but...

[And why yes she has a blanket or two after that initial post of Cirno's.]

-Cirno was honestly shocked when she felt that warmth. She was usually so adverse to it. The heat bothered her more than anything else. But when that warmth struck her, she moved into it, cherishing it, clinging to it as if her life depended on it.-

[Warmth is an amazing thing after a long time in the cold. Mercury knows that very well. She sympathizes with Cirno, truly, although she can't resist the moralizing lecture in the end:]

You thought coldness could win you strength, but you need warmth, too.

[San's first reaction is to try to defend the fairy from whoever it is that just came crashing through the forest. ...But this human had blankets. So for now, there will be no attacking. Still, at the moment she doesn't find speaking to Ami to be entirely necessary either, and directs her words at Cirno instead]

Are you injured?

-Cirno didn't understand. She honestly did not know that the 'hurt all over' she was feeling was the cold. She didn't know why the warmth felt nice. She just didn't understand.-

I ache... all over.

You've been out in the cold too long. We need to go inside to warm up. Can you walk if we help you?

You could freeze.

[blunt, isn't she?]

[Tear is making her way toward them, pausing once she lays eyes on the trio and slightly out of breath. Nevertheless relief washes over her when she sees Cirno being cared for, glad that she hadn't been alone in the time it took her to get here.]

How is she...? [Moving in closer now, ready to take the fairy to whatever place she needed to be.]

She'll be alright if we hurry. [Mercury affords the newcomer a brief nod of acknowledgment.] Please help us move her carefully. I can monitor her vital signs as we warm her up once she's inside.
