I was definitely worried for you as I read what happened. I'm glad it was such a relatively easy and inexpensive fix - no skin grafts or etc needed. You won't even have to wait a year before it'll be hard to spot the damage. And you're right, if I was in your shoe and looked in the mirror there definitely would have been a delay in my reaction time and that could have made all the difference. I'm a little dyslexic when it come to hand eye coordination before a mirror - haha, you made out so much better than I would have.
