*Davey Gudgeon needs a job, and the woman firmly holding his wrist as her kitchen yielded to the scenery of a bustling Diagon Alley was more than happy to oblige that day. In Emmeline's vocal opinion, he needs a lot more than a nine to five, but an elementary knowledge of proper etiquette that he sorefully lacks as much as an occupation. However, slothfulness will not easily lead to the latter ( ... )

*Emmeline's expression doesn't change at his mockery. Instead, the tone of her voice edges on incredulous, her words simple as she turns to face the nearest store.*

*Hastily dressed, Sirius following just behind, Remus Apparates into a side-street off Diagon Alley all of three minutes after Emmeline's Patronus had swooped in over their breakfast. He had expected mass devastation, something on the scale of Rothbury, and isn't sure what to make of the relative quiet. He'd popped in closer to Charing Cross than to Ollivander's, so the trouble is all still down the road and around the bend - here, there's nothing but a handful of people making a dash for the pub and a way to Floo out.

Not turning to look as he hears Sirius Apparate in beside him, Remus cautiously leans out into the road, frowning, voice kept low.*

They're running from that way.
