*Remus is out for a walk, so Sirius is home alone, and he answers the door expecting Remus--maybe he forgot his keys, that's why he's knocking?--but he looks through the peephole and finds a less-bedraggled-than-should-be-allowed Rose. It takes almost a full minute to undo all the wards, despite how often he does it. When the door swings open, he's still smiling, if a bit bemused, and he waves her in. He can guess what this is about well enough.*
Evening. Want a drink? I was just about to fix myself one.
*He shuts the door, knits the wards back together much faster than he managed to undo them, and moves to the kitchen. He speaks over the sound of cabinets and glasses.*
You look good, considering. If it were me I'd still be in bed.
*She's had a lot of practice, but she's not telling him that. She lays her purse on the coffee table and takes a chair, absently running a hand along their cat's spine when she comes to investigate.*
